2025 Team Greenville Champions Challenge

Date: Dec 5-7, 2025

Location: Greenville County Aquatic Complex, 2700 West Blue Ridge Drive (SC Highway 253), Greenville, SC 29611

Eligibility: All TIDE swimmers 

Fees for Southern Tide Swimmers: $85 per swimmer; $6 per individual event

Entry Deadline for TIDE swimmers: Tuesday, November 18th

Swimmers may choose their events. Coach Amy will provide some oversight and guidance on which events would be best to swim/best to not swim. Swimmer events will be adjusted if necessary.

Meet Format/Entries:

Friday and Sunday events are timed finals. All events 11 & above on Saturday will be prelims/finals.
Friday - swimmers may swim 2 individual events

Saturday - 11 & Over swimmers may swim 3 events and 10 & under swimmers may swim 4, including time trials.

Sunday - all swimmers may swim 4 events, including time trials.

The 50 free on Friday will be swam as a shoot-out. Everyone will compete in the first event Friday, Top 8 will swim after the Open 400 IM, Top 4 will swim at the beginning of finals on Saturday Night.

The top 20 for each age group of 11-12, and 13-14, and top 30 for 15 & over will return for finals on Saturday.

8 & unders will have the opportunity to swim the 25's of all the strokes on Saturday. 50's and 100's will be swam on Sunday.

ABSC's Fall Classic Meet will take place October 26th-27th at UGA's Gabrielsen Natatorium in the Ramsey Student Center. This meet is a short course, timed-final competition.The schedules is as follows.

Meet Updates

• Parking--Parking is free all day Saturday and Sunday. Meet participants are encouraged to use the UGA East Deck or Ramsey Surface Lot (E03 and the East Deck on this map).
• Facility Entrance: Meet participants should enter the Ramsey Spectator entrance. In approaching the main entrance from the deck or surface lot, turn left and go down the sidewalk until you see the large bank of doors. Go down the spectator lobby and enter the natatorium on the right.
• Team Areas: Swimmers are, of course, welcome to be on the deck to watch, cheer, and talk to coaches, but should plan on keeping their gear (bags, coolers, parkas, etc.) in the stands. It's important that we do this, both for the conduct of a two-pool meet, but also to ensure that facility remains clean and in good shape. We ask that coaches help with this, so we don't have to keep telling swimmers to put their things in the stands.
• UGA Practice: Univ of GA swimmers will be practicing Saturday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am. Meet participants should not come down onto the deck until the Georgia swimmers are gone and the club swimmers have been invited down.
• Competition Pools: We will be running two pools for this meet; Girls will be in Course A, beside the diving well; Boys will be in Course B, under the spectator lobby. It's possible that a few heats of the girls 400 IM will be swum in the boys' pool after they finish on Sunday; but that will be determined at the meet.
• Vendors: Fine Designs T shirts and Reddiset Swim Shop will be set up in the spectator lobby both days of the meet. The t shirt shop sometimes closes early on Sunday, so swimmers who want a shirt may want to visit them the first day.
• Meet Results: Results will be posted on Meet Mobile under “2025 Athens Fall Classic”

  • 12 & u - 50 fly or 200 fly, 100 free, 100 breast, 100 IM or 200 IM, 100 back,  (select 4 max)
  • 13 & over - 50 fly or 200 fly, 100 free, 100 breast, 100 IM or 200 IM, 100 back  (select 4)

  • 12 & u - 50 breast or 200 breast, 50 free, 50 back or 200 back, 100 fly, 200 free (select 4 max)

• Fees for Southern Tide Swimmers: $65 per swimmer; $8.50 per individual event
